Sick with excitement!!!
I am really excited. Tomorrow I am off to London for a few days. Firstly I get to stay with friends I have not seen for ages, which will be fantastic.....but on Friday I also get to go to the Kensington Dollshouse Festival. I can't wait. My biggest problem is going to be self-control. My piggy bank has been emptied, the cushions on the sofa removed to find any spare money and my credit card is quaking in fear.
My latest project was finally 'cut out' last weekend. Weeks of work went into figuring out what shapes I needed to build it. I have no idea how it will turn out when all the bits are put together. Fingers crossed. It may yet end up being scrapped and replaced with a far less ambitious project :( But meanwhile, I am going to reward myself for all this hard work by buying some things for the inside that I just couldn't make myself. I am also going to stock up on some building supplies.
On top of this, my friends live about 10 minutes walk away from Kristin Baybars shop in London. I was worried her shop might not be open this week but it will be - so I will have more fun there too.
When I first discovered minis I had no idea quite how addictive they were going to prove - and expensive. Thankfully I can make quite a lot of things myself so really only want to buy quality items that would be way beyond my scope or ability.
Isn't that little candleabra from Minst just gorgeous. Would fit perfectly into my new project!

Thank you everyone! I fear that Drora's comments will echo in my mind when I feel indecisive and give in to temptation. Will share my treasures next week. Best wishes, Carol x
