Mini Glitter Church for Christmas

I have missed making miniatures SO much over the last few months.  Last night I decided I needed a quick-fix, so dug out my True2scale ‘Glitter Church Kit’ (which I bought last Spring) and made this tiny little Christmas decoration for Honeybee Cottage.  It is 1:144 and the detail is fantastic.  The kit was so easy to put together and it is very festive.  Because I can never resist putting my own touch to things, I added a little porch above the door.
Hopefully I will find more time to make miniatures over the next few weeks.  I have a needlepoint tea-cosy that is half made and I look forward to finishing that next.  And then…..maybe I will tackle the grandfather clock for Honeybee Cottage!!

  9. Oh my goodness Carol, I thought this little masterpiece was going to be quite large and then I saw the thimble . . I can hardly believe the detail in something so small. You have a unique talent. I trust you had an enjoyable time with family over Christmas. It all seems to take ages to arrive and then pass so quickly. I'd like to wish you and yours a 'good' New Year and pray that 2012 will bring the changes and happiness you seek. Love Eli xx
