Fruit Basket
I was just not happy with my apples and plums from earlier in the week so made a new batch yesterday. I think these are much better! Subtlety is the key when making polymer food. This time no gloss! I will never be like the real food artists out there who do amazing work - but it is so much fun to try. When I have time I am going to try to make a bunch of black grapes.
Don't sell yourself short...these look awesome!
ReplyDeleteLooks like the work of a real artist and this is what counts. Just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteIo trovo bellissimo il tuo cesto di frutta,mi ricorda moltissimo un'opera di Caravaggio,

ReplyDeleteI love the grapes! I never eat grapes, but these want to pop straight into my mouth (oh yes, I know I'd be sorry!)

ReplyDeletethe fruit looks amazing! To me your fruit looks just as great and realistic and wonderfull as other artists food! Keep going because this is pure eyecandy! (With a healthy dose of vitamine in this case ;) )
ReplyDeleteWow, Carol - practice definitely makes perfect!! These are superb - I love the "dusty" look of the plums - exactly as they should be.
